We don't host content
ContentGrab is a search and link extraction tool. We do not host, store, upload, distribute, or serve any media content. ContentGrab works by reading publicly accessible web pages and extracting URLs that point to media files hosted on third-party servers.
When a user downloads a file using ContentGrab, that file is served directly from the original platform's CDN to the user's browser. ContentGrab is never involved in the actual file transfer.
Who to contact for content removal
Because ContentGrab does not host any content, a DMCA notice to ContentGrab will not remove the underlying media files. To have content removed from the internet:
- Erome: Contact erome.com via their support page
- Bunkr: Contact the relevant Bunkr domain's abuse contact
- Motherless: Use motherless.com's DMCA process
- RedGIFs: Contact redgifs.com
- PornHub / RedTube: Use the MindGeek content removal process
- xHamster / XVideos / XNXX / XXXBrits: Contact the platform directly via their abuse page
- Other platforms: Contact the platform directly
What ContentGrab can do
While we don't host content, we can stop ContentGrab from processing URLs from specific pages if:
- You own the copyright to the content
- You provide a specific URL that ContentGrab is indexing
- You include proof of copyright ownership
Note that blocking a URL in ContentGrab does not remove the content from the source platform — it only prevents ContentGrab from linking to it. You should still contact the source platform for actual content removal.
Filing a notice with ContentGrab
If you wish to file a DMCA notice with ContentGrab, your notice must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed
- The specific ContentGrab URL (e.g.
https://contentgrab.app/erome) where the alleged infringement is occurring - The source URL of the content you're requesting be blocked
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
- Your electronic or physical signature
Counter-notices
If you believe content was wrongly removed following a DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notice. Counter-notices must comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
Repeat infringer policy
ContentGrab will, in appropriate circumstances, disable access to users who are repeat infringers.
